Bauchi State government secures 80million dollars for the implementation of AGILE project.
Bauchi State Ministry of Education in collaboration with Adolescent Girls Initiative for learning and Empowerment have organised a one day orientation meeting for AGILE Steering Committee members.
Addressing members of the committee held at Chartwell Hotel, the state commissioner ministry of education Dr. Jamila Dahiru said state government has already secured the sum of eighty million dollars loan for the implementation of the project.
The commissioner charged the committee members to work as a team to achieved the objectives of the agile project towards addressing constraints to girl’s participation in education in the state
In their separate remarks, the Emir of Bauchi Dr. Rilwanu Sulaimanu Adamu, the provost Aminu Sale College of education Professor Sadiya Mohammad, representative of the religious leaders among others emphasised on the importance of the AGILE and assured their support to create more awareness to the public for the success of the project in the state.
