BAUCHI STATE GOVERNMENT FLAGGS OFF DISTRIBUTION OF TEACHING AND LEARNING MATERIALS TO SCHOOLS ACROSS THE STATE

Bauchi State Government has flagged off distribution of essential scholastic materials, donated by Better Education Service Delivery for All.
Receiving the materials, held at SUBEB headquarters, the Executive Chairman of Bauchi State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) Alhaji Adamu Muhammad Duguri called on Education Secretaries from the 20 Local Government Education Authorities and other Stakeholders to ensure proper utilization of the items .
He said the distribution and effective use of these resources are essential for improving the quality of education in the state., and emphasized that SUBEB will not condone any case of diversion , misappropriation, or misuse of the materials, noting that each item distributed has a purpose and a direct impact on the lives of the learners and teachers it serves.
he noted that SUBEB management will establish a high-powered committee dedicated to monitoring the distribution and utilization of these materials at every level, aimed at upholding transparency and accountability,
Alhaji Adamu Muhammad Duguri also said traditional rulers are included in the transformation for the betterment of the education system in the state.
He however expressed confidence that the Education Secretaries, will invest their time and effort into ensuring that these materials are promptly and effectively distributed and put to proper use by schools.
The Chairman extended his gratitude to Governor Bala Muhammed for the confidence he has placed in them and for his commitment to education as well as remain committed to rebuilding the glory of education in the state, and appreciated the support of the development partners including the World Bank through BESDA, USAID’S LEARN , UNICEF and other partners whose contributions have continued to strengthen the education sector in the state
On his part, the Focal person of BESDA, Alhaji Nura said the distribution was the last batch and charged the education secretaries to ensure judicious delivery to the benefited school and commented state government support to BESDA in the state for the actualization of its set Objectives.
