Bauchi State Government allocates Hajj seats and cash to the state winners of the just concluded Qur’anic recitation competition in Yobe.

Bauchi State Government has provided scholarship,Hajj seats and cash to the overall winner and contingents of the just concluded National Quranic Recitation Competition held in Damaturu Yobe State.

Governor Bala Muhammad who stated this at government House this would ginger them to do more in the future competitions.

He said the overall winner has put Bauchi State in the face of the world.

The Governor used the platform to call on Islamic Clerics in Bauchi State to unite irrespective of their sects for effective propagation of Islam, saying that it is through unity any meaningful development would be achieved

Earlier, the Chairman Bauchi State Quranic Recitation Competition committee Imam Hassan Usman Zango who expressed gratitude to Allah for witnessing the day, applauded Governor Bala Muhammad for prioritizing Islamic activities and the support given to the committee.

He explained that the overall winner will represent Nigeria at Saudi Arabia.

In his remark ,the Commissioner Religious Affairs and Societal Reorientation Alhaji Yakubu Ibrahim Hamza commended the contingents of Bauchi State for their doggedness during the Local, state and National Qur’anic competition.

The overall winner and those that came 2nd and 3rd position in different categories were giving Hajj seats, Cars, Keke NAPEP and cash, Twelve Hajj seats and twenty motorcycle to members of the committee.
