Bauchi State Commissioner of Higher Education and Regional Integration says Bauchi tertiary institutions were topnotch to compete among its peers in their country.

Bauchi State Commissioner of Higher Education and Regional Integration Mrs. Lydia Tsammani has said that the State’s tertiary institutions were top-notch to compete among its peers in the country.

Mrs Lydia Tsammani stated this while speaking to newsmen in Bauchi, noting that, the state higher Institutions have high rating on performance in all sectors, from infrastructure to manpower, service delivery and students overall output.

She also maintained that, state government will deal with the bad attitude of some people’s decisions and actions that contribute to destroying public institutions

The Commissioner emphasised that the State Government has invested in its tertiary institutions, providing standard infrastructure, and improving the quality of manpower services in the institutions

While commending Governor Bala Mohammed’s effort in tertiary institutions aimed at improving the students academic performance, the commissioner reaffirmed her unwavering commitment towards complementing the crusade.

Mrs Lydia Tsammani who noted that, funding has remained a big challenge to tertiary institutions, called on donor agencies to sustain financial support in that direction.
