Bauchi Gov. Promises to support Fed Govt policies and programmes for national development.
Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi state has promised to support the federal government in implementing its policies and programmes for the welfare and wellbeing of the citizens.
The governor made the promise when he received in audience, the Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Professor Ali Pate and the Minister of Finance, Mr Adebayo Edu on a courtesy call at the Government House, Bauchi.
Governor Bala Mohammed appreciated President Bola Tinubu’s administration for initiating a number of legacy projects particularly on health sector, saying when fully implemented, would impact positively on the lives of people.
According to him, health sector should be given special attention in recognition of its impact to human survival, hence the need for stakeholders to work together to achieve the desired objectives.
In their separate remarks,Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Professor Ali Pate and that of Finance, Mr Adebayo Edu said the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is to better the lives of Nigerians.
Prof. Ali Pate in particular said his ministry has initiated a number of health policies and he would work assiduously to ensure their full implementation.
