BAUCHI DEPUTY GOVERNOR EXPRESSES DETERMiNATION TOWARDS FINDING SOLUTION TO BOUNDARY DISPUTES ACROSS THE STATE

The Bauchi State Deputy Governor and State Chairman Boundary Commission, Mohammed Auwal Jatau has promised to work and support the National Joint Committee on Field Validation and Harmonization of Nigerian Wards Boundaries who are in the state for an official assignment.
Auwal Jatau made this known through his Special Assistant on Boundary Matters, Ahmad Garba when he led a team from National Boundary Commission on a Field Validation and Harmonization of Nigeria Boundaries to conduct the exercise in Bauchi North and Central Zones of the state.
He said the present administration of Governor Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad is determined towards finding lasting solution to the boundary disputes across the state.
He used the medium to commend the effort of Director General of National Boundary Commission and Surveyor General of the Federation for doing everything possible to provide platforms for resolving boundary disputes in the states of the federation.
The team Leader of the Committee Surveyor Hafiz Aziz said the exercise will provide lasting solution to the boundary disputes and boarder encouragement in neighboring Bauchi States, hence the need for selected wards in the state to support them for effective service delivery.
Surveyor Hafiz Aziz assured of the Committee’s readiness to discharge the duties efficiently for peaceful coexistence and National Development.
