AL’ MUHINBBAH FOUNDATION IN COLLABORATION WITH NORTH EAST DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION FLAGG OFF FOOD SUPPORT INITIATIVE FOR ORPHANAGE, PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES AND OTHER ORGANIZATIONS IN BAUCHI STATE

Al’ Muhinbbah Foundation in collaboration with North East Development Commission have flagging off food support initiative for Orphanage, Persons with Disabilities and other organizations in the state.
In her Goodwill message at the flagging off ceremony held at the Government House Bauchi. , the State commissioner for Women Affairs and child Development Hajiya Zainab Baban Takko said the support to the beneficiaries came at the right time considering the current economic condition in the Country.
Hajiya Zainab Baban Takko commended Governor Bala Abdulkadir and the state first lady for their efforts in assisting women and youth in the state.
She also thanked Al’ Muhibbah Foundation for the gesture and assured that her Ministry would copy from the foundation in her house to house distribution to the citizens of the state.
In a welcome address, the coordinator of Al’ Muhibbah Foundation Hajiya Zarah M. Baba said the gesture is a collaboration between the North East Development Commission and NGO to assist the Orphans and person with Disabilities to reduce hunger.
The Coordinator also said the the support programme would be extended to other local governments for door to door distribution.
She called on the beneficiaries especially women organizations to ensure judicious distribution of the commodity.
Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, Malama Asma’u, Mrs Jamima I. Jauro and Halima Ibrahim Dimis while thanking the organizers for the support given to them, called on other organizations to emulate the gesture and promised to distribute the food items given to them to the targeted beneficiaries.
Items distributed included Bags of Rice, Bag of Sugars, Cartoons of Superghetty Cartoons of Groundnut oil, women rappers,shadda brocade ,Matts and Blankets.
