ABUBAKAR TAFAWA BALEWA UNIVERSITY BAUCHI URGES MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC TO DISREGARD ALL INSINUATIONS OR ALLEGATIONS OF ILLEGALITIES AGAINST THE UNIVERSITY OVER APPOINTMENTS OF ITS PRINCIPAL OFFICERS.

Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Univerty, Bauchi has confirmed that its Management has been exercising due diligence accordingly and did not in any way violate any of the Regulations governing the conduct of the University.
Therefore, the University Community and general public should disregard all insinuations or allegations that the University is operating on illegalities as regard the appointments of Principal Officers of the University, perpetrated by some individuals or group who are out to tarnish the renowned image and eminent prestige of the University.
This is contained in a press statement signed by the Director of Public Relation Officer of ATBU Zailani Bappa and made available to newsmen
The statement therefore warned any staff or group propagating lies and casting aspersions to certain Principal Officers to desist from doing so, as , the Management will not condone acts of false information being propagated against the University aimed at tarnishing its reputable image.
The statement however explained that the appointment of principal officers to include Office of the Registrar, Bursar, librarian and Vice Chancellor was done based on due processes of law governing retirements and appointment of acting capacities to ocupy the vacant positions.
