Tafawa Balewa LGA receives inputs on various groups for its 2025 Budget proporsal

In an effort to ensure governance, Tafawa Balewa Local Government Council has received input from various groups for its 2025 budget proposal.
Addressing the participants during the budget consultation meeting at the Local Government Council chamber, the Executive Chairman of the Local Government Alhaji Samaila Wakili, said the local government will vigorously explore revenue items to generate money to meet the demands of the people with a view to making their life meaningful.
Samaila Wakili, who highlighted the local government proposed 2025 budget policy focus and priorities to include Education, Health, Agriculture, Youth and Women empowerment through job creation and community development among others.
He said the beauty of democracy is to allow people to participate in decision making process that is why different groups and community leaders as well as traditional and religious leaders were invited to take part in the process.
Alhaji Samaila Wakili, who applauded their inputs and contributions, assured them that his administration will prioritize people oriented policies and programmes
In their separate vote of thanks, the District Heads of Bula and Lere Alhaji Abubakar Musa Sale and Alhaji Sulaiman Muhammad, thanked the Chairman for his foresight, saying the meeting offers opportunity for the participants to give in their contributions to the development of the local government.
The traditional rulers also enjoyed the Chairman to place much priority to security without which no meaningful development will be achieved.
