Suspension of Senator representing Bauchi Central Constituency describes as a set back to the Nigeria’s democratic system.
The recent suspension of the Senator representing Bauchi Central at the National Abdul Ahmed Ningi by the leadership of the Senate has been described as a setback to Democracy in Nigeria.
The Chairman, Misau PDP Stakeholders Forum Alhaji Muh’d Yarima who said this while reacting to Senator Ningi’s Suspension said it is disheartening to the party that it’s member who represent a senatorial zone was suspended just because he demanded for democratic right of the citizens.
He said as loyalists and strong believers of democratic principles, the PDP Stakeholders condemned in strong terms the action of the national assembly leadership and called for reverse of the action in the interest of the nation’s democracy.
Alh Yarima commended the effort of Bauchi State Governor Bala Muhammad for standing firm with all members of the party and assured him of their continued support and cooperation at all times for him to actualize his renewed Bauchi agenda.
