A renowned public figure in Bauchi State Dr. Ahmad Iliyasu,
has called on state and federal governments to implement innovative programmes that will empower young people to improve their economic status and that of their communities.

Dr. Iliyasu made the call at the 35th graduation ceremony of Sheikh Abubakar Mahmoud Gumi Iqamatus-Sunna College, Gwallaga Bauchi,

He also urged parents and Islamic schools management to work together in addressing moral decadence among young people by ensuring proper upbringing and values.

Also speaking at the ceremony, the Bauchi Local Government Chairman, Mahmoud Babamaji Abubakar pledged his council’s support in promoting religious activities in the local government.

On his part, the Chief Imam of Sautus Sunnah Juma’at mosque, Yakubu Wanka, Bauchi, Ustas Ibrahim Ahmad Burema, called on the graduants to carefully apply the knowledge gained and further their education to guarantee their future.

In a remark, the Chairman of the Graduation committee, Usamatu Lawal Muhammad, said a total of 357 graduates, including males and females, received their certificates at the ceremony.

The graduation ceremony was attended by Islamic scholars, high-ranking personalities, and relatives of the graduants.
