SAUDI ARABIAN ISLAMIC DEVELOPMENT BANK GIVES PASS MARK TO ALMUHIBBA FOUNDATION FOR EFFICIENT UTILISATION OF GRANT.

Islamic Development Bank of Saudi Arabia has given a pass mark to Almuhibbah Foundation for efficient utilization of the One hundred million dollar Fund, offered by the Bank.
The grant was used in the training and equipping of women farmers in Alkaleri and Tafawa Balewa Local Government Areas of Bauchi State which attracted over 300 women benefiting from the intervention.
An assessment and evaluation team of the Bank under the leadership of Mr. Muhammad Golam Mortaza gave the pass mark duding a courtesy call to the founder of Almuhibbah Foundation and wife of the Bauchi state Governor Dr. Aisha Bala Mohammad in her office . Evaluation Specialist Mr. Muhammad Mortaza
An evaluation specialist from the Independent Evaluation Unit of the Bank, Mr. Mortaza said , an independent evaluation of the project was conducted by Almuhibbah Foundation, under its Women Empowerment Acha Fonio Project which was implemented with the $100,000 grant.
Responding,, the founder Almuhibbah Foundation , Dr Aisha Bala Muhammad appreciated the team’s evaluation visit saying, the pass mark would not be taken for granted”, for an international organisation to attest to Almuhibba’s capacity to implement a multi million naira intervention , coming from a reputable international organisation.
Dr. Aisha Mohammad also thanked her team at the Foundation for the successful implementation of the Acha Fonio Project which according to her has turned around the fortunes of the beneficiaries for the better.
Earlier in her welcome address, the Executive Director Almuhibbah Foundation, Mrs. Ladi Ibrahim Thomas, said the objective of the Women Empowerment Acha Fonio Project was to ensure that productivity, sustainability and profitability of the Acha value chains are sustainably developed and expanded in Bauchi State.
Mrs. Lady Thomas expressed delight with the evaluation visit of the Bank’s team to Almuhibbah Foundation.
