President Tinubu reassures continued support for TETFund
President Bola Tinubu gave the assurance at the Commissioning of TETFund twenty seventeen to twenty twenty one merged projects at the Faculty of Science and Management Science of the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University main Campus Gubi.
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu reassured of his administrations continued support to the Tertiary Education Trust Fund, TETFund towards improving Tertiary Education in the Country.
President Bola Tinubu gave the assurance at the Commissioning of TETFund twenty seventeen to twenty twenty one merged projects at the Faculty of Science and Management Science of the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University main Campus Gubi.
The President explained that to this end, his administration has also put efforts in place towards making the Nation’s Education sector globally competitive.
The President who was represented by the Minister of Foreign Affairs,
Ambassador Yusuf Maitama Tuggar then commended TETFund for it’s contribution to the development of the education sector in the Country.
According to him, the fund has been able to sponsor two hundred and forty lecturers of the ATBU alone to various trainings both within and outside the country to the tune of over one billion, seven hundred and ninety nine naira.
He added that the fund has also spent over four hundred and seventy two million, one hundred and fifteen thousand five hundred and forty six naira on the four commissioned projects which houses science departmental building, submerged Classrooms and Laboratories as well as Academic Building for School of Management Technology.
