PDP CHAIRMANSHIP CAMPAIGN FLAGGED OFF AT ZUNGUR IN BAUCHI LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA
The District Head of Zungur Surveyor Sa’idu Ibrahim Jahun has described the five years of PDP governance in Bauchi under the leadership of Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed as a restoration period for the revival of dividends of democracy to the citizens.
Surveyor Sa’idu Ibrahim Jahun disclosed this during the flag off ceremony of Bauchi local government PDP chairmanship campaign in Zungur District.
. Represented by the village head of Zungur Alhaji Sa’idu Hamid Bello, the Galadiman Bauchi noted that at Liman Katagum alone, PDP has done more than enough, saying people of the area will make sure that Zungur District remains the PDP stronghold..
On the candidature of Alhaji Mahmud Babamaji Abubakar , the candidate contesting for Bauchi Local government, the district head of Zungur maintained that, the candidate is a man of integrity whose leadership style was tasted by voters including Zungur District.
Also speaking , the newly sworn in Bauchi Local government PDP chairman Hon. Inuwa Aliyu Durbin Inkil… pledged the present administration’s continued support in executing developmental projects that have direct bearing to the masses.
He attributed the current economic hardship in the country to lack of good leadership
On his part, the former deputy speaker Bauchi State House of Assembly and now State commissioner Housing and environment Danlami Ahmed Kawule hoped that voters from Zungur District would come out en mass and vote for Mahmud Baba Ma’aji in the August 17th chairmanship election.
Danlami Kawule at the ceremony also introduced four councilors under the platform of PDP from Zungur District to include Bala Salisu Badas Zungur ward, Jamila Juwara Mummusaal, Auwal Balwa Yamrat and Yariman Badayami Dandango Ward.
In a remark, PDP chieftain in Zungur District and former deputy chairman Bauchi Local government Bala Mato Zungur, described people of Zungur as united who would always keep to their promises.
