The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Board of Trustees has requested for the support of the PDP Governor’s Forum in addressing the numerous challenges facing the party.
The BoT Chairman and former Senate President Dr. Adolphus Wabara, made the request when he led BoT members on an advocacy visit to Governor Bala Mohammed at the Government House, Bauchi.
He said the meeting was aimed to finding ways of addressing the party’s current challenges and acknowledged Governor Mohammed’s pivotal role in ensuring stability and unity within the PDP.
Dr. Wabara expressed deep concerns about the party’s internal issues, particularly within the National Working Committee (NWC) and the ongoing crisis in Rivers State.
He used the medium to praise Governor Bala Mohammed’s developmental strides in Bauchi and his crucial role in unifying the PDP as Chairman of the PDP Governors’ Forum.
According to him, the governor was recognized for his efforts in fostering reconciliation and ensuring sustainable growth within the party.
In response, Governor Bala Mohammed reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to the PDP’s success and unity, expressing gratitude to the BoT and NWC for their efforts in addressing internal difficulties.
