The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists NAWOj. has commended Alheri and Kindness Newspaper for honouring the Director, African Hope, Dr Saba”atu .Elizabeth for her selfless service to humanity.
Speaking during the award presentation, the NAWOJ Chairperson Hajiya Rashida Yusuf described the Director African Hope as hardworking, passionate and a personality who never gets tired towards developing women achievement in every nooks and crannies of not only the state but the entire nation.
She said the award would serve as a morale booster for her towards efective discharge of her duties by uplifting women to a greater height .
Hajiya Rashida Yusuf urged the founder of the African Hope to continue carrying everybody along irrespective of religious and cultural differences.
She called on women in the state, particularly, those who have same opportunity with the Director African Hope Doctor Saba’atu Elizabeth to impact positively to the rest of the society.
Presenting the award, the Newspaper editor of Alheri Kindness, Mu’azu Umar Hardawa, revealed that his media chose Doctor Saba’atu Elizabeth as one of the prominent personalities who exhibited dedication to her duty towards supporting women, deemed it necessary tohonoir her for the growth and development of the nation.
Responding, the Founder of African Hope, Doctor Saba’atu Elizabeth Danladi expressed happiness for finding her worthy of the award, which according to her would serve as a morale booster towards discharging her role meaningfully, for the growth and development of the women society.
She said she is making an effort with the support of her colleagues in ensuring that women becoeme self-reliant , and promised to maintain the tempo.
Doctor Elizabeth urged parents to discharge their parental responsibilities by enrolling their children into school, adding that education is the key to every meaningful society.
