Member representing Toro federal constituency Isma’il Haruna Dabo has commissioned a multi-million naira water project in Gayawa and block of six class rooms in Salarma.
He similarly flagged off the distribution of food items worth over two hundred million naira to people of Toro federal constituency.
Addressing thousands of supporters in Gayawa and Salarma to witness the commissioning of solar power borehole; and a block of six classroom Isma’il Haruna Dabo said the timely completion of the project reflect on his decision and aspiration to execute viable projects that has direct bearing to the lives of communities.
He urged communities of the area to guard the projects by protecting them against vandalization for their benefit.
He expressed commitment to champion policies that would prioritize the interest and aspirations of youths and women as well as investing more in roads and human development among others.
He recalled that, various projects are on the way that include rural roads in Magama and Tilden Fulani, rural electrification in Dalam, Kogin Salla and the Magama Gumau as well as construction of maternities, mini bridges and culverts in various communities among others.
While speaking at the flagging off distribution of Ramadan packages Isma’il Dabo said already, he has purchased food items worth over two hundred million such as rice, vegetable oil and supergetty for onward distribution to people and adviced the committee to ensure judicious distribution as any one found wanting will face the wrap of the law.
In his key note address, the chairman APC stakeholders Toro local government Barrister Ibrahim Yakubu Toro, Ya’u Nababa Tulu and Yusuf C. Nuhu all applauded the legislator for the gesture and urged members of the public to accord him more support to rip more dividend of democracy.
In a vote of thanks, the Hamlet head of Salarma Malam Buhari Umar and Maijama’a Mato thanked the legislator for the initiative and promised to safeguard the projects.
