MALIKIYYA COLLEGE OF NURSING BAUCHI MATRICULATES EIGHT HUNDRED STUDENTS

Malikiya College of Nursing Sciences Bauchi has matriculated eight hundred students to offer different health care courses in the college.
Addressing the newly admitted students, the Provost of the college Architect Ismail Dalhat, noted that the freshers Orientation program for the twenty-twenty four twenty-twenty five academic session of the school is to equip the students with the rules and regulations governing the college.
He enjoined the students to face their studies with vigor and shun any negative act in their studies.
The Provost, represented by his deputy Lawal Usman Shehu, thanked the organizers of the occasion for their effort to ensure the success of the program.
Also speaking , the Registrar of the college, Tafida M Dagauda charged the fresher students to maintain their good parental upbringing and moral discipline in their lives in campus.
He urged the students to adhere to punctuality, dedication, hard work and determination to enable them excel in their academic pursuit.
In his remarks, the Deputy Registrar Academics of the college, Malam Abdurrashid Khalil recalled that three years after the establishment of the college, one of their students emerged winner in the HIL National Examination in the country, and described the success as a milestone achievements to the college.
He noted that the college is operating twenty accredited health care curses programs such as public Health, Medical Lab Technicians and science Laboratory Technology among others.
Malam Abdurrashid Khalil advised the students to be discplined and abide by the academic calendar of the institute in order to achieve the set objectives.
Speaking on the examination policies, the HOD Examination of the college, Malam Aminu Kaffi, warned the newly admitted students against any form of examination malpractice as the management of the college will not spear anyone found wanting.
In their paper presentation, Professor Bala Sulaiman Dalhat from Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Bauchi and Comrade Sabo Muhammad, a lecturer with the Malikiya College, stressed the need for parents to allow their children to go for their own career choice to enable them master their respective fields of endeavour.
They also advised the students to key into intrepreneurial programs for self reliant after graduation
In a vote of thanks, the proprietor of Malikiya College of Nursing Sciences, Alhaji Aminu Muhammad Dan Malikin Bauchi, stressed the need for the students to be decent and wear the approved dress code of the college for effective teaching and learning.
The Proprietor therefore appreciated the commitment of the management staff of the college and called for its sustenance.
