The Executive Chairman of Katagum Local Government Yusuf Babayo Zaki has urged Katagum Online Vendors to be wary of fraudulent activities by breaching the trust of their customers.
Yusuf Babayo made the remarks while speaking at the Katagum Online Vendors Trade Fare held in Azare over the weekend.
The chairman who led the launching of the event, applauded the commitment of the online vendors who proactively participated in the modern business to make themselves self-reliant.
The Local government Chairman further appreciated the efforts and giant stride of the Katagum Online Vendors on their quest to boost commercial activities in the area.
He prayed for the continued success of their businesses on the internet space.
Similarly, the District Head of Azare Alhaji Galadima Magaji Abdulkadir has expressed delight on what he described as extraordinary display of items traded on social media platform by the Katagum Online Vendors Association in the form of trade fare.
The traditional ruler charged them to ensure trust and honesty and desist from putting exorbitant prices on their items for easy sale and proper gain of legitimate profits.
He equally tasked them to be their brothers keepers and consider taking apprentices towards leveraging the modern commercial opportunities for speedy economic growth.
Several items were displayed at affordable prices to attract buyers from within and across the zone, with a view to build connection between the online vendors and their prospective customers for present and future transactions.
