JNI organizes 2-days seminar on religious tolerance.

Bauchi state Government has seek the support of Religious Organizations towards instilling good moral values and behavioral change among the citizens of the state.

The State Governor, Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed seek the support at the closing of a two day seminar and award presentation to Islamic scholars organized by Jamaatu Nasril Islam Toro Local Government branch.

Represented by the Commissioner for religious Affairs Alhaji Yakubu Ibrahim Hamza, the Governor said his administration has placed priority on the promotion of religious tolerance, unity,matual working relationship and societal reorientation among others aimed at moving the state to a greater high.

He applauded Jamaatu Nasril Islam Toro LG Branch for embarking on numerous religious activities that would bring positive change among the citizens of the area and urged other organizations in the state to emulate.

Also speaking the Care Taker Chairman Toro Local Government Alhaji Dallami Garba Abubakar described JNI as best performing Religious organization in the area and pledged his resolved to work with them for the speedy development of the area.

Earlier, the chairman central purpose committee of the organization, sheik Ahmad Makama said the two day seminar is aimed to encourage Islamic scholars on the tasks ahead.

According to him, over one thousand participants from the 264 Jumaat Mosques across the seventeen wards of the local government attended the seminar and enjoined the participants to extent the knowledge they obtained to the grass root to achieve the set target.

Some of the guest lectures at the event Imam Abdurrahaman Ibrahim Idris Executive Secretary MPWB Bauchi, Imam Hassan Usman Zango Chairman Qur’anic Recitation Competition Bauchi, Dr Shuaibu Musa Ardo,Dr Danjuma Usman and Dr Hamza Hussaini all acknowledged the contributions of JNI Toro Local government in propagating Islamic religion.
