Industrial Training Fund trains Civil servants in Bauchi.

State Industrial Training Fund has organized a skill acquisition training to representatives of various Ministries, Department and Agency aimed at improving the capacity of entrepreneurs in the state.

The Industrial Training Fund interactive Session formalized by the Area office Bauchi with a need for individuals to be self-reliant held at SULGAD Majestic Hotel, along Maiduguri bye pass Bauchi.

The ITF Area Manager, Abdurrahman Attah, said the annual event with stakeholders is to sensitize them on the modus operandis of ITF.

Abdurrahman Attah therefore thanked the state Governor Bala Muhammad for the sterling quality leadership for assisting the Industrial Training Fund with the enabling environment to host this year’s historic event which serves as an attestation to the success of fund under review in the year twenty-twenty three.

He said the Federal Government through the ITF has trained thousands of less privilege Nigerians to become self-employed in various trade which indigenes of the state are beneficiaries to such programmes.

The Area Manager urged stakeholders not to relent in their determination to continue to key into the policy and programmes of the ITF to enhance Human Capital and Economic Development.

On his part, the State Director NDE Lawan Yaya Ali, noted that the annual event is aimed at fostering a better relationship between the agency and its critical stakeholders in the state, hence to promote understanding, role and relevance of the ITF in human Resource Development.

Lawan Yaya explained that ITF is working in synergy with government with the renewed hope agenda of President Ahmed Bola Tinubu’s administration.

He said ITF had remarkably implemented numerous programmes in the year twenty-twenty three, which include, The National Industrial Skills Development Programme, the Women Skills Empowerment Programmes, Construction Skills Empowerment Programmes, Agric-prenuership Skills Empowerment Programmes among others.

While calling on youth to participate in small and medium scale entrepreneurship in their areas, said gone were the days where people would solely rely on Government to give them job.
