IBRAHIM USMAN ABDULLAHI EMERGES OVERALL WINNER AT THE NINGI LOCAL GOVERNMENT QURANIC RECITATION

Ibrahim Usman Abdullahi has emerged overall winner in sixty hizib with Tafsir in male in the just concluded 39th edition of the Ningi Local government Quranic Recitation Competition held at Ningi Emir Palace, Ningi Local Government Area.

Declaring the competition closed Chairman Ningi LGA pledged the local government readiness to continue to support such competition and other Islamic activities.

The Chairmen who was represented by the Deputy Hon. Isa Muhammad, the LGA said the competition was aimed at instilling reading and memorizing the Glorious Qur’an perfectly saying in previous competitions Ningi local government emerged victorious at National and State level and urged the contingents to maintain the tempo.

Earlier, the LOC committee and Director ESD Ningi local government Council Hajiya Tawakaltu Lawan thanked Bauchi State committee for giving the local government the right saying that it is a remarkable achiement to the local government and thanked Allah for successful conduct of the competition.

Hajiya Tawakaltu Lawan called on the contingents to put into practice what they have learnt before during and after the competition.

In a remark, the Chairman Bauchi Quranic Recitation Competition committee Imam Hassan Usman Zango who expressed delight for the successful completion of the competition appealed to LGA chairman to redeem the promise made to provide bicycle to overall winner.

Hassan Zango who was represented by Malam Ibrahim Ahmed Baba Karami, explained there are lots of prices put in place for pupils who perform well in any categories of competition.

Also speaking, the Emir of Ningi Alhaji Haruna Muhammad Danyaya who was represented by Shattiman Ningi Alhaji Aliyu Ibrahim wants the local government to sponsor winners positions to represent the LGA at the National level.

Jamaare local government is to host the 39th edition of the competition this year.

Seventy four contingents participated in the competition.
