GOVERNOR BALA MUHAMMAD ABDULKADIR REAFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO SUPPORTSECURITY AGENCIES TO MAINTAIN PEACE AND TRANQUILITY IN THE STATE

Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, has reaffirmed his commitment to supporting security agents in maintaining peace and tranquility in the state.
This pledge came during a meeting with the newly posted 29th Assistant Inspector General of Police in charge of Zone 12, AIG Idowu Owohunwa, at the Government House.
Governor Bala Mohammed appreciated AIG Owohunwa’s visit and emphasized that security is a collective responsibility.
He promised to partner with the AIG to address security challenges, stating, “Be rest assured that whatever support you need, I will provide to enable you maintain peace and security in Bauchi State and the zone.”
He added that Despite Bauchi State’s strategic location as the gateway to the North East and the security challenges facing its Neighbors, the state remains peaceful due to the persistent efforts and support from the police and other security agents.
Speaking Earlier, AIG Idowo Owohunwa commended Governor Mohammed for his efforts in ensuring peace and stability in Bauchi State, acknowledging the governor’s support for security agents, particularly the police.
The AIG expressed  commitment to sustain peace and address security challenges in the zone.
