Governor Bala Mohammed approves N793m for the payment of 2025 external examinations.

Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed of Bauchi State has approved the sum of Seven Hundred and Ninety-Three Million, Six Hundred and Twenty-six Thousand Naira Only for the registration to twenty five thousand four hundred and ten students under the Ministry of Education and the Special School Management Board.
The State Commissioner For Education Dr. Lawan Mohammed Rimin Zayam made the disclosure while briefing newsmen in his office
Dr Lawan Mohammed, noted that, the released of the funds was for the payment of external examination fees to all eligible Senior Secondary three indexed students in the state.
The Education Commissioner however gave the breakdown of the approved number of the candidates by examination bodies to include NECO thirty two thousand two hundred and ninety four, NABTEB one thousand eight hundred and thirty four, NBAIS two hundred and eighty two as well as JAMB five thousand students
He said, this substantial financial commitment underscores Governor Mohammed’s dedication to ensuring that all qualified students in Bauchi State have the opportunity to pursue their academic goals without financial barriers.
While acknowledging the effort of Governor Bala Mohammad led administration to improve the lost glory of education, the commissioner reafirmed the approval by governor Bala Mohammed to employ teachers in all the nook and cranies of the state
Dr Lawan Mohammed used the medium and dismissed insinuations that, Bauchi state government is owning any examination body
and urged relevant stakeholders particularly parents to enroll their children to school aimed at achieving the set objectives.
