Gov Bala flags off the construction of cement factory in Diji Village.

Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed has launched the commencement of construction of
the Resident Cement Company in Alkaleri local government area, part of efforts to harness the solid minerals subsector for economic growth and development.
Governor Bala Mohammed stated that the state is opened for investment and businesses, aimed at utilising its rich minerals and natural resources.
He assured investors that their security and investments would be guaranteed, with the state and its people being the main beneficiaries.
The Governor appreciated Resident Cement Company and other partners for investing in the state.
In his address, the Group Chairman of Resident Cement Company Ltd Dr. Abbas Waziri Junaid commended Governor Bala Mohammed for creating an enabling environment for investment.
Also speaking, the State Commissioner of Natural Resources Development, and Mohammed Maiwada Bello, noted that the drilling marks significant milestone towards unbundling Bauchi State and stated that, under Governor Bala Mohammed, the solid minerals subsector is faring well as a means of economic diversification, sustainable growth, and development.
