Gov Bala approves 5 Hundred Million Naira to host Northeast Domestic Trade fair in Bauchi state

The state Commissioner ministry for commerce and industries Mahmud Baba Ma’aji says arrangements are on top gear for hosting the Northeast Domestic Trade fair in the state.
Mahmud Baba Ma’aji disclosed this in an interview with state assembly correspondents after the ministry’s 2024 budget estimate.
He said the state Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed has approved 5 hundred million naira for the successful conduct of the trade.
According to him, the move is to enhance the economic productivity of the state.
He called on business men and women from across the state to participate in the trade fair by displaying and showcasing their potentials for the economic growth of the state.
Responding, the Chairman state assembly committee on commerce and industries Sale Zakariyya of Azare/Madangala constituency promised to work hand in hand with ministry to ensure that the money allocated to it are judiciously used.
Meanwhile, the state government has proposed 2.9 billion naira to the state ministry for Higher education and regional integration in the 2024 budget.
The commissioner of the ministry Mrs. Lydia Tsammani stated this while depending the ministry’s 2024 Budget before the state assembly committee on education.
She said the ministry was given the mandate to provide buildings, facilities and equipment at the newly established College for education Technical Dass and college for administration Ningi in the proposed budget.
