Gombe state government says it has spent seveteen million naira for the sentllement of entitlement of pensioners in the state.

The commissioner ministry for local government and Community development Alhaji Abdulkadir Muhammad stated this during opening ceremony of workshop for local government officials organized by Gombe state ministry for local government and community Development in collaboration with Prime Tech Solutions Industry on crisis management and risk assessment held in Bauchi.

The commissioner who was represented by his personal Assistant Garba Uba said the state government was committed towards improving the welfare of civil servant and pensioners in the state.

Alhaji Abdulkadir Muhammad explained that the state government is committed to ensuring that civil servants are being given entitlement promptly by 25th of every month hence the for workers to carryout their assigned responsibilities effectively for them to earn legitimate salary.

In his paper presentation, the principal consultant Prime Tech Solutions Industries Professor Mansir Malumfashi who dwelt on the importance of crisis management approach urged the participants to prevent escalate from local government to state level.

Professor Manusir Malumfashi urged local government staff to get themselves prepared to prevent crisis in the course of their duties to prevent lost of lives and property adding that small conflict can escalate to crisis in a setting.

Fifty Deputy directors, deputy head of agric, deputy head primary health care, education and social development, Chief admin officers, inspectors of local government and area inspectors from the eleven local government areas of Gombe state are currently undergoing the training.
