GENERAL MANAGER BAUCHI STATE TOURISM DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION EXPRESSES READINESS OF THE AGENCY TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE DIVERSIFICATION OF THE TOURISM SECTOR

The General Manager Bauchi state Tourism Development Corporation Dr Muhammad Nasir Yusuf drop this hint when he received the delegation of Hotels Management Board and Tourism department from Yobe state in a courtesy visit in his office.

Muhammad Nasir Yusuf expressed his agency’s readiness to contribute it’s quarter toward diversifying tourism needed knowledge through educating other states around the northeast region and beyond aim at leveraging tourism potentials for the benefit of all.

He said the state tourism sector has achieve milestone as a result of priority accorded by the state government which make it became the mirror in the nation and the country in general.

Dr Muhammad Nasir Yusuf urged the government of other states to emulate Bauchi to create more source of revenue and employment therefore assured the delegation that the agency has welcome the partnership bid and will yield the desired result.

Earlier, the leader of the delegation General Manager, Yobe state Hotels Management Board who spoke through Director Tourism of Yobe State, Mrs Rebeka said there were at his office to seek for guidance from the country’s giant tourism environment.

The Board Manager also solicited the support from Bauchi State Tourism Development Corporation through training their staff in order to have a required skills in maintaining tourism site and artifacts so as to gain the attention of tourists after insecurity challenges which now been eradicated.

He reiterated that time ago insecurity have immensely effect the tourism activities in Yobe State living great setback in the sector but he said the issue has been addressed and habitable for all kind of tourist.
