EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN TORO LOCAL GOVERMENT COUNCIL FELICITATES WITH CHRISTIAN COMMUNITY OVER CELEBRATION OF CHRISTMAS

The Executive Chairman Toro local government Pharmacist Ibrahim Abubakar Dembo has felicitate with Christian Community of the area as the celebrates 2024 Xmas.

While joining other leaders in congratulating Christian community for witnessing this year’s celebration of the Birth of Jesus Christ, the Chairman charged them to use the season for sober reflections and pray for sustainable peace in the land.

He stated this In a message to the Chistain of Toro local Government area as they joined their counterparts world wide to celebrate another sacred moment of their life.

The Chairman maintained that the celebration is all about happiness and offerings, hence the need to observe the festivity within the context of the scripture by avoiding extravagance that would cross the line.

Pharmacist Ibrahim Abubakar Dembo, who appreciated God Almighty for the peaceful coexistence in the area, charged them to embrace their brothers and sisters of other faith and work together in building a prosperous nation where peace and development will prevail.

In another development the councillor representing Toro ward Hon Moh’d Kabir Usman has distributed thousands of Naira to Christian community of Toro ward.

Presenting the funds to the representatives of the Christian the Councillor said the funds was provided by the executive of the Local is part of gesture to support the Christian faithful to celebrate this years Xmas.

While commending the chairman for the gesture he Congratulates the Christian for witnessing this years festivity urged them to make best used of the gesture and continue to accord more support to the chairman and Governor Bala Mohammad.

Responding on behalf of the recipient Maman Jonah Benson thank the chairman and the Councillor for the gesture and promised their total loyalty and support.
