Deputy Chairman Distributes Clothes and Wrappers in Support of Community Empowerment

The Deputy Chairman of Warji Local Government Council, Hon. Habibu Idris Tiyin, has distributed over one hundred wrappers worth millions of naira to women in his hometown of Kankare, the headquarters of Tiyin Ward, aims to uplift the community and demonstrate the council’s commitment to serving the people of Warji LGA.

Hon. Habibu Idris Tiyin highlighted that this gesture reflects the strong working relationship between himself and the Executive Chairman of Warji, Alhaji Aminu Barmini Sardaunan Baima.

He emphasized that public service should be rooted in compassion and a dedication to improving the lives of constituents.

The deputy Chairman said, as leaders in a democratic system, it is their duty to support the people who entrusted them with their votes, cited Democracy as a government of the people, by the people, and for the people, promised to continue to empower women and youth, promoting self-reliance and sustainable growth.

In addition to the distribution of wrappers, the Deputy Chairman presented clothes to the village head and local Imams, recognizing their leadership and outstanding contributions to the community.

In his remarks, the Executive Chairman of Warji Local Government Hon. Aminu Barmini, praised his deputy’s efforts, describing him as a model for other council members to follow.

He encouraged the entire council members to remain proactive in delivering meaningful projects and services to the people of Warji.
