Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs embarks on tour to Traditional rulers palaces.
Management of the Bauchi State Ministry for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs have embarked on inspection tour to Traditional rulers palaces in some local government areas of the state.
The team led by the Commissioner in the ministry, Hon. Isa Babayo Tilde, visited Dass, Tafawa Balewa and Bogoro local government areas including Lere and Kardam to assess the progress of various construction projects awarded by the state government under the ministry.
At Emir of Dass palace, Isa Babayo Tilde said Bauchi state government is committed to ensuring that all development projects in the state are completed on time and based on specification.
According to him, the ministry of Local governance and Chieftancy Affairs high powered delegation was in Dass local government to ascertain the level of work so far executed by the constructor handling the project.
The Emir of Dass, Alhaji Usman Bilyaminu Othman, expressed dismay on the delay in the completion of the Emirate palace project and called for immediate action to ensure that project completed within the stipulated time.
He commended the ministry’s management under the leadership of Isa Babayo Tilde for the visit and expressed readiness to support the commissioner at all times.
While at the office of Dass local government Chairman, Isa Babayo Tilde informed the Chairman that the team was in the area for an assessment tour of ongoing infrastructural development programme embarked upon by the present administration.

Muhammad Abubakar Jibo appreciated Governor Bala Mohammed for what he has done to the local government in the area of infrastructural development.
He announced that, recently, the Governor has awarded for the renovation of 13 primary health care centers in Dass local government and the local government has also constructed worship centers and shops among others.
While at the palace of District Head of Lere in Tafawa Balewa Local Government, Isa Babayo Tilde expressed satisfaction with what the team saw on ground.
Receiving the team, the District head of Lere said the local government and Chieftaincy Affairs Commissioner is the person to visit the area after the construction work and thanked Governor Bala Mohammed Kauran Daular Usmaniyya for Donating cars and upgrading traditional rulers palaces in Bauchi.
