A philanthropic Organization, Jam’iyatul Birri has distributed over three hundred thousand Naira to patients at Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Teaching hospital Bauchi, to settle their medical bills.
Speaking to our Reporter after the distribution, the Ameerah of the organization Hajiya Aisha Bintu Musa Awak said were at hospital to show love to the patients and sympathize with them as Muslim brothers and sister in Islam.
She added the visit to the patien at the hospital is part of the Ramadan activities of Jam’iyatul Birri.
Hajiya Bintu Awak called on the other organizations in the state and well to do in society to visit the hospital from time to time and assist the people at this economic hardship period.
Receiving the donation, Malam Abubakar a social welfare officer at the hospital commended Jam’iyatul Birri for the gesture and prayed Allah to reward them abondontly.
Malam Abubakar said this is not the first Jam’iyatul Birri is visiting the hospital at every last ten days of Ramadan to assist the patients and called on others to emulate.
