The Management of the Bauchi Radio Corporation (BRC) has reiterated commitment to justify it existence towards promoting educative programmes across the globe.
The Managing Director of the Corporation Alhaji Chindo Waziri stated this during a quiz competition organized by Islamiyya Schools Competition Association, held at Al-Hilal School, Bauchi.
Alhaji Chindo Waziri who described education as a key to any meaningful development in the society, assured determination to initiate more Programmes that will improve the standard of education in the state.
He called on wealthy individuals to support the education of the less privileged in their surroundings for an egalitarian society.
Also speaking, the Director National Orientation Agency Bauchi State Alhaji Nuru Yusuf Kobi, decried the attitude of some parents and guardians that are not prioritizing the Islamic educational of their children by not paying their school fees and urged them to change for the better.
In his remarks, the Proprietor Al-Hilal School Bauchi Alhaji Gambo Sani Fataskum, commended the quiz competition committee for organizing the programme, adding that the competition will boost the capacity of the students in pursuing Islamic knowledge.
He explained that the school is offering free education to the students who lost their parents, as indelible legacy of the school
Alhaji Gambo Sani Fataskum, cushioned the students against disobeying their teachers and the school roles and regulations to enable them acquire sound and qualitative education.
On his part, the coordinator of the quiz competition, Malam Muhammad Isah, appealed to the state government to restore the lost glory of Islamic knowledge in the state by proving educational facilities and improving the welfare of Islamiyya teachers for effective teaching and learning
The Islamiyya schools participated at the Qur’anic, Arabic, Fiqhu as well as English and Mathematics quiz competition session are: Ihya’us-sunnah, Tasneem, Tarbiyatul Aulad, Imam Ash-Shafi’i , Tarbiyatul Islam, where Imam Malik, Al’Aqeeq and Abu Hanifa came first, second and third respectively during the competition.
Others include, Almunawwarah, Millatu Ibrahim, Usman Bn Affan, Fariah foundation academy, Nana Fadima, Ta’alim Fadaman Mada Bauchi among others.
