Bauchi State Welcomes New Works Commissioner, Prof. Titus Ketkukah, as He Promises Open-Door Policy

New Honourable Commissioner Ministry of works and Transport Processor Titus Soul Ketkuka has assumed duty, pledged his commitment to operate an open door policy in order to realise Governor Bala administration’s policy thrust on infrastructural development.

The Hon. The commissioner made the pledge during the handover ceremony with Hon. Ibrahim Gambo Galadima, the outgoing Commissioner of the Ministry, held today in the conference hall of the Ministry.

Professor Ketkuka promised to build up from where his predecessor stopped, pleaded with staff of the Ministry to foster a collaborative environment, understanding and team work.

He further said that we are all not in the Ministry for our personnel affairs, advocated an integrity in work, stressing that
all hands shall be on deck so as to achieve the goal.

On his part the outgoing Commissioner, Hon. Ibrahim Gambo Galadima acknowledged that the new Commissioner has an extensive experience that will significantly make an impact on infrustructural work.

Hon. Gambo Galadima appreciated all staff of the Ministry for the unwavering support to him and urged them to extend the same to the new Commissioner.

Earlier, in his welcome address, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry Engineer Mohammed Hamisu Garba FNSE reiterated a readiness of the management and staff of the ministry to work harmoniously with the new Commissioner so as to enable him justify the confidence reposed in him by the Governor of Bauchi State.

Engr. Hamisu stated that leadership is all about holding position and making a difference in the life of the people, he therefore expressed optimism that the new Commissioner would facilitate the good work of the Governor in terms of infrastructural growth and development for the betterment of the People.
