Bauchi State Speaker to feed fifteen thousand people in the month of Ramadan

In his effort to relieve pains during the Holy month of Ramadan, the Speaker of the Bauchi State House of Assembly Abubakar Y. Suleiman through his Foundation Nabalago, is set to feed fifteen thousand people of his Ningi Central Constituency.
The annual feeding programme according to the spokesperson of the Speaker Mukhtar Garba Kobi, is aimed at proving foods to the poor and less privileged.
It said, this comes at a time when citizens from different parts of the country are passing through economic hardships.
The statement added that, last year, the Speaker has fed over ten thousand people through out the month of Ramadan and decided to increase the number of the beneficiaries to fifteen thousand as prices of food commodities could not be afforded by many due to the inflation.
It further revealed that, the Ramadan feeding programme of the Speaker was inspired by his wife, Hajiya Abi Hafsat who always extends her philanthropic hands to the people he represents.
The statement described her as a rare gem who encourages her beloved husband to positively touch the lives of his people while putting permanent halt to their bedevilling societal challenges.
