Bauchi State Shari’a Commission alerts the public over impersonation.

Bauchi State Shari’ah Commission has cautioned members of the public not to engage the former Secretary of the Commission in any official activities.

The Acting Secretary of the commission Alhaji Ibarahim Musa Yasin who made the call at a press briefing in his office, said the move was to protect the image of the state government and the commission in line with rules of service.

Alhaji Ibarahim Yasin explained that the former Secretary of the commission Malam Ahmad Tijjani Sa’id has retired from service on the 2nd of January, 2024 and wondered why he still engages people in official capacity after attaining the retirement age.

He described the former Secretary as a devoted Islamic Cleric and hardworking civil servant who contributed to the development of the Commission and the State as a whole, nothing that people can relate with him on personal but not official capacity.
