Bauchi State Reaffirms Commitment to Compensate Property Owners Affected by Ongoing Road Construction Projects

Bauchi State has reiterated its readiness to pay compensation of lands and properties to pave the way for seamless roads infrustructural development in the state.
The Director Public Building Bauchi Ministry of works and Transport Alh.Abubakar Adamu disclosed this during a Phase II for the compensation of land and property to owners located at Boi-Gambar-Sara-Marti-Lere axis, held at Zuya Village, Lere, Tafawa Balewa LGA, Bauchi State.
The Director who led members of the outstanding committee for the assessment and payment of all properties affected by road construction in the state, expressed desire of the Government to make a timely completion of all ongoing road projects to provide succour and improve socioeconomic life of the People.
He therefore called on the property owners to always come with their means of identification (Photocopy of Identity Card, National Identity Card or E-Passport) at the compensation venue to ease the payment exercise.
Ealear, in their several remarks, the beneficiaries Musa Sabo, Paul Ayuba and Suleiman Ladan (Dan’iya) thanked Sen. Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad, the Bauchi State Governor for the payment of compensation and transforming their community with befitting road infrastructure.
No fewer than Sixty One (61) property owners have earlier assessed by the Technical Committee for the payment of BOI – LERE Second Phase Compensation Exercise.
