The Bauchi State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has announced that the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria has declared four point six nine- nine million naira as the new fare for this year’s pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia.
The Executive Secretary of the Board Imam Abdurrahman Ibrahim Idris made this known during a press conference in his office.
The Executive Secretary who revealed that the commission announced 12th February,2024 as the final date for the payment, called on the intending Pilgrims especially those who did not complete the payment to do so as soon as possible.
He however, urged the Pilgrims who deposited Four point five million Naira to as a matter of urgency complete the payment before the expiration of the period for optimum productivity.
Imam Abdurrahman Ibrahim Idris also said there are about two thousand intending Pilgrims who have completed their payment, adding that the board is already making concerted effort towards facilitating the success of the process.
