BAUCHI STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY REITERATES COMMITMENT TO MONITOR ALL WORLD BANK AGRICULTURAL PROJECTS

Bauchi State House of Assembly Committee on Rural Development has vowed to monitor all world Bank Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing project designed to improve the livelihoods of Bauchi residents.
The Chairman of the Committed Abdulrashid Adamu Mu’azu stated this while interacting with the management staff of the state ministry for special duties and rural development for the 2025 budget defence.
According to him, the project with the support of the state government when implemented will provide sustainable access roads in rural areas and facilitate agricultural activities as well as enhance economic opportunities for the rural populace.
Abdulrashid Adamu Mu’azu noted that the state assembly will provide legislative support to accomplished the RAAM project in Bauchi.
Also speaking, the Permanent Secretary, Bauchi state ministry for special duties and rural development, Shehu Ahmed Malle expressed satisfaction that the initiative represents an unprecedented level of commitment by the state government to rural infrastructure in Bauchi state.
According to him, under the programme, Bauchi state is set to witness a transformation that will enhance connectivity, boost agricultural productivity and improve the quality of lives of rural populace.
