Bauchi State Govt approves for total rehabilitation of State Specialists Hospital.

Bauchi State Government has approved for the total rehabilitation of the State Specialist Hospital as part of efforts to improve service delivery in the health sector of the State.
Briefing journalists on the outcome of the State Executive Council meeting at the government house, Bauchi, the State Commissioner of Health, Dr Sani Mohammed Danbam said the projects include the purchase of new hospital equipments, renovation of structures including staff quarters among others to further attract more health workers to the State.
According to the commissioner, other measures as directed by Governor Bala Mohammed is for the State Head of Civil service to review the salary structure of doctors working in the State.
Also Speaking, the State Commissioner of Housing and Environment, Danlami Ahmad Kawule said the council has ratified the renovation of the Bauchi State House of Assembly Complex to create a conducive atmosphere for members of the State House of Assembly and that of the Bauchi State House of Assembly Commission.
Danlami Kawule said the project which will soon commence, demonstrates the commitment of the governor towards reinvigorating the central sectors of the economy.
On his part, the State Commissioner for Information and Communication, Alhaji Usman Shehu Usman, said the council has deliberated on the digitalization of Bauchi State Television (BATV) and the Bauchi State Radio Corporation(BRC).
He stated that another memo from the ministry of information and Communication is the Youth employment through cyber security in collaboration with the Canadian government, adding that the move is to ensure the continuous training and employment of more youths for sustainable growth and development.
