Bauchi State Government to remobilize the contractor handling 25 kilometers linking Ganjuwa and Kirfi local government
Bauchi State Government is to remobilize the contractor handling the construction of 25.6 kilometer from Kamfanin kutare – Kubi to Jayin Gadda road linking Ganjuwa and Kinfi Local Government Areas back to site.
The Commissioner Ministry of Works and Transport Honorable Ibrahim Gambo Galadima stated this while inspecting progress of the work done on the road project.
Alhaji Ibarahim Gambo Galadima who expressed dismay over the progress of work done and disappearance of the contractor from the site assured readiness of the state government to complete the project with a view to bringing succour to the motorist and other road users.
In a remark the Adviser Engineering sevice to the Bauchi State Governor, Engineer Abdulkarim Sulaiman Hassan said Governor Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad directed the Ministry to supervise and review the level of the work done on with a view to completing the road project.
Engineer Abdulkarim Sulaiman Hassan said over 9 kilometers of the road has been completed with surface dressing while artworks of 16 kilometers was also completed.
He assured the benefiting communities of the Areas state government readiness to complete the road on time for their benefit.
On his part, the village head of Kubi Alhaji Sule Sale Sulaiman Said the road has been the major challenge in the area and Commended the state government for it renewed efforts toward the completion the road
He assured the support and cooperation of traditional rulers towards executing the project.
