Bauchi State Government proposes over #12billion naira to Housing and Environment ministry in the 2025 budget.

Bauchi State Government has proposed over 12billiin naira to the state ministry for Housing and Environment to ensure full implementation of its activities.
The State Commissioner
of the Ministry Honourable Danlami Ahmed Kawule disclosed this to newsmen after the defending the ministry’s ,2025 fiscal estimate.
He said the state government has captured in the proposed 2025 budget, total renovation of the state assembly complex with modern office facilities for conducive working environment.
According to him, Bauchi state government has developed keen interest and strong commitment to squarely address issues of climate change in the state in order to keep the citizens safe and secure.
The Commissioner stressed that the state government is committed to improving the issues of environment through the various policies and programmes by ensuring that people live in secure and safe environment.
Danlami Ahmed Kawule who described Bauchi Lawmakers ad partners in progress, pledged to work harmoniously with them, to ensure that all the lined up ministry’s activities have legislative backing for the benefit of all.
On his part, the Chairman state assembly committee on housing, Builder Sa’idu Suleiman Darazo said the state lawmakers would work hand in hand with the ministry to ensure that mass housing constructed by the present administration across the state are allocated to the beneficiaries.
He also expressed satisfaction with the way and manner the ministry managed the resources allocated to it in the 2024 budget.
