Bauchi state government calls for speedy completion of the road project from Wikki Oil junction to Yelwa round about

The community of Old Airport in Bauchi Local Government area, have appealed to the Bauchi state government for the speedy completion of the road project from Wikki Oil junction to Yelwa round about in the state capital.
The appeal was made when the closed neighbours and other people of old airport Bauchi led by the ward head of the area paid congratulatory visit, to the care taker Chairman Tafawa Balewa local government area Alhaji Sama’ila Wakili Lere, for nomination as the flagg bearer of the People’s Democratic Party, during the forthcoming local government chairmen and councilorship elections across the state.
Earlier the ward head of Old Airport Malam Abubakar Ahmad who is the leader of the delegation, said the visit is to congratulate Sama’ila Lere, for his nomination as the PDP candidate for Tafawa Balewa local government council’s election.
He described Alhaji Sama’ila Wakili as the right human, who has passion to the rapid transformation of the people his constituent, Tafawa Balewa local government area and the state at large.
Malam Abubakar Ahmad enjoined the caretaker chairman Tafawa Balewa local government to continue to endow his wealth of experience to the development of the people of his area.
The Ward Head therefore used the visit and called on PDP’s candidate to fast track the completion of the road construction of old airport, to address the transportation challenges in the area.
Also speaking, other members of the delegation Engineer Aliyu Baba Kafi and Hajiya Asabe Tula, noted that the aim of the visit was to intimate Alhaji Sama’ila Wakili about their support in the local government polls and tender their request before the PDP candidate to the state governor, for the completion of the long awarded contract of the road construction, linking to Yelwa round about.
Engineer Aliyu Baba Kafi and Asabe Tula, explained that the relationship between the people of old airport and the PDP candidate, is highly commendable and prayed God to grant success during the election.
They described nomination of the Alhaji Sama’ila Wakili by the People’s Democratic Party as the well deserved appointment, inview of his immense contributions, to the societal development.
Responding the PDP nominy Tafawa Balewa local government area Alhaji Sama’ila Wakili Lere, expressed appreciation to the people of old airport for the visit and promised to forward their request to the governor, to justify the confidence reposed in him.
He solicited for the support and prayers of the people of old airport to governor Bala Mohammed’s administration in the state and his success during the chairmanship elections.
