Bauchi State First Lady organizes iftar dinner for commissioners’ wives and party Women leaders.

Muslim Ummah in the state have been charged to Redouble their efforts towards assisting the less privileged members of the society at this special Month of Ramadan.
The state first lady Dr. Aisha Bala Mohammed made the call during iftar Dinner with the wives of the State commissioners, Non Governmental organizations and PDP women leaders organised by her office held at the Government House, Bauchi.
Dr Aisha Bala Said the essence of organising the iftar is to show love and to cement the relationship existing among them.
Dr Aisha Bala said assisting the needy became necessary considering the economic situation of the country for them to feel a sense of belonging.
In her welcome address, the commissioner for lands Hajiya Amina Katagum commended the first lady Dr. Aisha Bala for the gesture and called on people of Bauchi State to continue praying for the success of the Present administration in the state.
Also speaking, the State commissioner for women affairs and child development Hajiya Hajara Jibrin Gidado said this is not the first time, Dr Aisha Bala is organising the iftar and appreciated the state governor for championing activities of women in the state.

Speaking on behalf of the participants, the State PDP women leader Hajiya Hafsat Adamu thanked the first lady Dr Aisha Bala for organizing the iftar and pray Almighty Allah to reward her and her husband Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed.
