Bauchi State Civil Servants warns against exams malpractices.

Bauchi State Head of Civil Service Alhaji Yahuza Adamu says Promotion Examination is a critical component of an efforts to ensure that Civil Service remains vibrant, dynamic and responsive to the needs of the Citizens.

Alhaji Adamu Yahuza stated this during the 2024 Batch ‘A’ and ‘B’ Civil Service Promotion Examination Sensitization Workshop help at Multipurpose Indoor Sports Hall, Bauchi.

He added that the workshop is designed to equip civil servants with the necessary knowledge, skills and strategies to excel in the examination.

The Head of Civil Service noted with confidence that, the workshop will not only prepare the participates for the
examination but will also enhance their overall performance and contributions to the Civil Service of the State.

He also commended outstanding Civil Servants who recently passed their examinations with an
impressing 85% pass rate, saying their hard work, dedication and commitment to excellence have truly paid off and are proud of their achievement.

Alhaji Adamu Yahuza urged the participants to take inspiration from their colleagues success and strive for even greater heights aim to exceed the eighty five benchmark and set new records of excellence.

He said any form of cheating or unethical behaviour will not be condone, adding that, already, a disciplinary actions was initiated against those who were caught engaging in malpractice during the last examination exercise to serve as a stern warning to anyone compromising the integrity of the exams.

Earlier, the permanent secretary establishment and servicom matters Muhammad Sani Umar
hoped that the workshop will provide the participants with the knowledge, Skills and expertise necessary to excel in their roles and take on new challenges.

Mohammad Sani extended his gratitude to the Consultant and resource persons for their expertise and guidance they will provide throughout the workshop.

He said the workshop is a significant milestone in an efforts to provide positive impact on the workforce and the wider society.

On the overview of the training program and methods of examination by the consultant Alhaji Gambo Magaji explained that the technical session comprises, history of Nigeria civil servants perspective, code of ethics for public officers, ICT and its usefulness in public service, basic tools of administration service, financial and stores regulations, public procurement law in Bauchi state and questions and answers.
