BAUCHI STATE ENVIROMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY EXPRESSES SATISFACTION WITH COMPLIANCE BY COMMUNITIES IN THE MONTHLY SANITATION EXERCISE

The state environmental protection agency says it was satisfied with the level of compliance by communities visited in Bauchi metropolis during the November monthly environmental sanitation exercise.
The commendation director general state environmental protection agency Dr Mahmud Mohammed Bose made the commendation while supervising the monthly sanitation exercise in the state capital.
Dr Mahmud Bose who was represented by Mohammed Usman Saleh director inspection enforcement and compliance said the agency is willing to assist any community or association with working tools whenever the need arises.
He said the sanitation exercise was very much encouraging considering the level of awareness by the public.
The director general BASEPA added that the agency have contributed various working tools to communities that participated in the community sanitation exercise.
In their comments the communities visited appreciated BASEPA for assisting them with working tools that enable them achieve their objective.
Dr Mahmud Bose said the November monthly environmental sanitation is one of the most successful monthly sanitation exercise recorded.
Places visited during the sanitation exercise are, Gidan Mai, Miri village, Yelwa as well as Gwallameji all in Bauchi metropolis.
The agency has also apprehended a manager of Optima filling station Yelwa road Bauchi for selling fuel during sanitation hours and he will be charged for violating sanitation laws.
