ATBU matriculates 6105 students for the 2023/2024 academic session.

The Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Bauchi has matriculated 6105 students into nine Faculties for the 2023/2034 academic session.

Speaking at the matriculation ceremony, the Vice Chancellor of the University Professor Muhammad Ahmad Abduaziz said The event is a cardinal and mandatory step that most be taken in order to properly admit fresh students for responsible learning process.

the Vice Chancellor enjoined the students to listen to the university’s authority and be law abiding in all their conduct while on campus, stressing that the university management will not hesitate to show uncompromising students out and hand over criminally minded students to the law enforcement agencies to take appropriate actions.

Professor Muhammad Abdulaziz said the university has zero tolerance to vices like drug abuse, examination malpractice, cultism and truancy.

The faculties are, agriculture and agricultural technology, engineering and engineering technology, environmental technology, management science and faculty of science.

The rest include, Technology education, Veterinary medicine, SPESSE center of excellence and college of medical science.
