ATBU Bauchi disregards the story of fake Professorship

The Management of the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Bauchi has disregarded the story going rounds on social media attributing to the National Universities Commission that it has uncovered about 100 fake Professors in some Nigerian Universities including the ATBU.

In a statement signed by the Director of Information and Public relations of the University Zailani Bappa, none of the seven among the listed 100 alleged mentioned Professors is a staff from the ATBU.

According to the statement, the National Universities Commission has never interacted with the University at any given time and in whatever capacity on the said issue.

It therefore advised all stakeholders to disregard the report as untruth, mere fiction, an imaginary act and a possible attempt to smear the hard earned reputation of the University.
