BAUCHI STATE FIRST LADY ENCOURAGES WOMEN TO KEY INTO SELF RELIANT VENTURES

 

 

 

Bauchi State First lady Dr Aisha Bala Mohammed Women in the State have been enjoined to redouble efforts in seeking knowledge and venture into useful businesses for self reliance.
Dr Aisha Muhammad made the appeal at the Twenty Twenty five International women’s day celebration organize by the her office in collaboration with the State Ministry of women Affairs,Child Development and Social Welfare held at the Government House Bauchi.
Dr Aisha Bala said the celebration of international women’s day is not only for women to come together to celebrate, but rather to deliberate on their challenges and the way forward to tackle it for their growth and development.
The first lady said women have a vital role to play in the society, hence the need for them to concentrate more on issues affecting women so as to become role models in the society.
In her Remark at the occasion, the state Commissioner for Women Affairs, Child Development and Social Welfare Hajiya Zainab Baban Takko called on women to always respect themselves and to be good ambassadors of their respective families..
In their goodwill messages, Hajiya Hauwa Musa from Plan International,Debora Tabara From UNPA and Hajiya Ladi Thomas From Al’muhibbah Foundation advovated the need for women to speak with one voice in tackling challenges facing them.
