Bauchi Governor reiterates commitment to strengthen media industry.

Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, has emphasized the importance of unity and regional integration in Nigeria.
The Governor also highlighted the need for leaders to work together to address the country’s challenges, particularly in the areas of poverty, security, and education.
He was speaking when he the Board of Ahmadu Bello Memorial Foundation on a courtesy visit at the Government House, Bauchi.
Governor Bala Mohammed advovated the importance of learning from the past, noting that, the legacy of Nigeria’s past leaders, such as Ahmadu Bello, should be built upon to promote unity and development.
The governor called on leaders to be guided by the principles of transparency and accountability and to prioritize the interests of the people.
He stressed that the country’s diversity should be celebrated, but unity is essential for progress, adding that the trust deficit between the government and the people is a significant obstacle to development, and efforts should be made to bridge this gap.
Earlier, the Chairman Board of Trustees, Sir Ahmadu Bello Memorial Foundation Who is the Former Governor of Niger state Dr. Mua’zu Babangida Aliyu emphasized the importance of good governance, transparency, and accountability as the case during the reign of Sardaunan Sokoto to address the country’s current challenges.
